2. Make a Checklist
When you are cleaning your room, a checklist is a must. A simple printed or handwritten checklist can save a lot of your time.
In my cases, I forgot some tricky cleaning works whenever I did this. Then I have made a checklist and the work was nice and smooth. Now, I do not leave a single task (no matter how simple it is).

3. Identify The Major Tasks
You need to know where you have to put a lot of effort to clean up and where you need less. Separating major tasks from minor works will help you to organize your work.
For example, if you need to move furniture to clean the surface, it is not reasonable to do it every day. You can clean it once in a week or once in a fortnight considering the air quality and dust management system of your house.
4. Schedule Major Tasks
You should make a schedule of doing the major tasks if you are the only one to clean the room.
It is not good to do all the hard work in a day, rather you should make a schedule and finish these works periodically. Doing this will make you a fast worker and give your room a fresh look every day.
5. Organize Categorically
If you are not a regular cleaner and want to do the whole bunch of work on a holiday, follow this step.
Organizing the task is another important thing to remember. When you organize your to-do's based on categories, you will know where to start the work and where to end it.
Let us imagine a room. You are living in a 300 square feet room and you have a cabinet, a wardrobe, a dressing table, a reading table, and a bed. Your home consists of 3 other living rooms like this one.
Now, where should you start and where to stop?
You should mark your room by numbers first. Like Room #1, Room #2 etc. Then you should remove the clouds of dust from the tough to clean corners. After that, you can clean categorically like, all rooms bed in a serial then all rooms cabinet.
Doing the work in a sequence will save your time of swapping from one cleaning material to the other frequently.
If you are cleaning with only one vacuum or other machines, you can categorize the similar type of furniture in one category.
6. Clean The Surface
After you finish up cleaning all the furniture along with air conditioners and fans, you should now clean the messy surface with a convenient machine.
I prefer vacuum cleaners. But if you want to use a broom, you can use that also. Using a broom will need you to carry a garbage bag with you.
When using a vacuum cleaner, observing the dust material is important. Chemical and other hazardous substances should not be cleaned with the vacuum. You should follow the professional guidelines of your municipal corporation about those substances.
After all the above mentioned works are done, you should now concentrate on reorganizing your room.
If you do not like the same setup for a long time, the room clean is the best way to swap the setup.
Swapping the set up once in a year is good for looking the room fresh and tidy. I try to swap the set up my room at least once a year.
